NEW RESIDENTIAL HOUSE

In this project, DTCE designed the reinforced block masonry retaining walls, Titan ground anchors, and structures resilient to gravity and seismic forces for a two-story timber-framed house situated on a steep site in a SED wind zone. Collaborating with a geotechnical engineer, we crafted the foundation design, utilizing a substantial timber floor diaphragm to channel seismic loads to the rear foundation wall. Our meticulous process involved multiple iterations of calculations and structural detailing, culminating in the completion of the formal Building Consent package. The house is currently under construction.
